Arrive Dungog Friday pm for a highly enjoyable weekend including two easy but most attractive bike rides. After enjoy the country town Saturday am vibe enjoy a relaxing and highly scenic 23 km circular bike ride. Saturday night offers a choice of dining options and often an in-house hotel quality musical concert. Sunday morning take again to the sealed backroads for a delightful 17 km ride before brunch with plenty of time to visit a Hunter Valley vineyard or two on your return to Sydney. Plenty of time to explore and discover Dungog’s delightful places and people; all a 2.5 hour drive north of Sydney. Comfortable hotel accommodation (share bathrooms) and good cafes serving morning coffee/meals. Saturday dinner options include a well rated bistro.

Tour Highlights Include
Enjoy two different cycling routes radiating out from picturesque Dungog. Arrive Dungog Friday pm with time to settle in to your comfortable hotel accommodation with dinner an option. Saturday morning in Dungog is a pleasure with time to explore the main street retail stores including Dungog by Design ( a local makers collective), two cycle shops and various other specialist craft and gift shops. Also operating each Saturday is the Dungog Local Growers Market: ideal for some home-grown fruit and vegetables to take home.
Saturday pm take a delightful 23 kms circular cycle route along a beautiful river valley on very quiet country backroads (all bar 3 kms sealed and all road bike suitable). On return to your accommodation time to relax: enjoy a drink on the balcony or sample the fine craft beers across the road at the Dungog Tinshed Brewery. Consider dinner at a well rated bistro a or in-house at your hotel as a fitting conclusion to the day. Unless a Sunday sleep-in is calling; enjoy a most scenic and varied 17 kms loop ride on quiet bitumen roads before a leisurely brunch and hotel check out by 11am. Plenty of time to visit a Hunter Valley winery or two on your return to Sydney.
